As Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Solnet Group, you will directly lead various sales teams across Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands. From the Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Helsinki office, you will collaborate with the international sales teams to shape the sales strategy for the future. You will manage five teams, be part of the international management team, and smartly divide your time between the Netherlands, Germany, and Finland. This is a great role in a company that is developing rapidly; you are a connector who bridges distances and cultural differences. Your teams are responsible for large international key accounts, and you will join them at important client meetings when needed. Together with your teams, you will develop a sales strategy that fits local markets and trends.
The growth of Solnet Group in this dynamic energy market requires a strong approach. The foundation is in place, but your time and attention are essential to achieve further growth and innovation. With your enthusiasm, you will motivate your team to increase revenue and profitability within the European commercial & industrial (C&I) market. As a member of the four-person management team, you will grow into a key bridge-builder within the company.
In this key role, you will be responsible for sales, marketing, business development, and customer relationship management to achieve financial and strategic goals. You will work closely with other departments to align commercial activities with the company’s overall objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in achieving revenue and profit targets across Europe. Develop an international key account management and partner strategy, tailored to target audiences and channels.
- Manage the sales, marketing, and business development teams to acquire and retain new customers. Set ambitious targets, monitor KPIs, and focus on securing large contracts and strategic partnerships.
- Develop marketing strategies to increase visibility and market share. Create impactful campaigns and customer programs, with a focus on account-based marketing to attract large corporate clients.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners. Inspire, coach, and lead your team to deliver top performance, with a focus on collaboration and customer orientation.
What do you bring?
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Business or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience leading commercial teams within the solar or renewable energy sector, with a focus on B2B key accounts in an international environment
- An active network within the solar or renewable energy sector is a must
- A people-oriented leadership style with a coaching approach to inspire teams
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills combined with a strong commercial mindset
- Strong stakeholder management skills to handle international negotiations and deals
- Excellent command of multiple languages, including English, Dutch, and German
